Program Overview

Peak of the Market Ltd.’s Farm to School is a fundraising program that promotes healthy food choices and offers great profit margins for schools, licensed daycares or other organizations looking to raise funds. Your establishment keeps 50% of the profits:

• $7.50 for every $15 vegetable bundle sold
• $12.50 for every $25 vegetable bundle sold

The Farm to School fundraiser gives your community access to fresh, local vegetables while supporting local Growers, school and daycare nutrition guidelines and policies, and food banks!

The School/Daycare/Organization you support decides where donation bundles are delivered. They can either opt to send donations to a local food bank of Peak of the Market Ltd.’s choice (see list below) or distribute to an organization of their choosing. You will need to ask the group you are supporting where their donation bundles are being sent. If you would prefer to donate to an organization of your choice, simply purchase a regular bundle and deliver it on your own.

Any vegetable bundles purchased for donation to be delivered for free by Peak of the Market will go directly to one of the following local food banks;

• Harvest Manitoba
• Regina & District Food Bank
• Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre
• Calgary Food Bank
• Edmonton’s Food Bank
