Program Overview
Farm to School is a fundraising program that offers great profit margins for schools, licensed daycares or other organizations looking to raise funds. Your establishment keeps:
- $7.50 for every $15 vegetable bundle sold
- $12.50 for every $25 vegetable bundle sold
For a successful vegetable fundraiser, you will need:
Login credentials! Every year is a brand-new Farm to School program. Any past information/log in credentials are obsolete. Please create a brand-new account to get started. Even if you, your school or your daycare participated last year or any year prior, your information no longer exists. Please create a BRAND-NEW account.
To register your school, daycare or organization for the fundraiser AND pick a delivery date (schools/daycares) or pickup date (other organizations).
Sales! A minimum of $800 in orders is required. Encourage friends, family, community and others to purchase for personal use or a donation to a local food bank.
A great team of volunteers and/or parents who can unload the vegetables from the truck as well as sort/pack them into the provided reusable shopping bags so they are ready for distribution.
Volunteers that can lift at least 50lbs. Vegetables will arrive in 50lb. bags. The driver of the delivery truck is ONLY a driver. They are NOT able to help with unloading of the truck due to liability issues.
Adequate space to receive and sort the vegetables. Trolleys or carts are recommended to help transport the vegetables into your facility.
These are not provided by delivery truck, driver nor Peak of the Market Farm to School. Please provide your own trolleys or carts.
**Remember: the driver CAN NOT help unload the truck.**
Any communication regarding delivery of your order must be done directly with our Farm to School Coordinator, not the delivery truck company nor driver. Any negative communication with the delivery truck company or driver is deemed unacceptable and will result in a penalty to participate in the Farm to School Program thereafter, for a period of 2 years.
Parents to help the children and students take the vegetable bundles home on the scheduled delivery date in order to pass them along to those who purchased from them.
Ability to follow current public health guidelines for gathering limits and social distancing when planning out the vegetable assembly and distribution process.

Have the ability to support local food banks at the same time. Through this fundraiser, you are able to purchase a vegetable bundle to donate to a food bank of Farm to School’s choice in Manitoba, Saskatchewan or Alberta. If you would prefer to donate to a facility of your choice, simply purchase a non-donation/regular bundle and deliver it on your own. They would be grateful to receive the donation.
Farm to School Manitoba has partnered with Harvest Manitoba to provide participants an opportunity to donate bundles to a local food bank.
Every participant who purchases donation vegetable bundles through Farm to School Manitoba are supporting a local food bank as well as a school, daycare or organization. Schools, daycares and organizations still receive the same 50% of total sales regardless if the vegetables are purchased to keep or for donation!
Any vegetable bundles purchased for donation will be delivered for free by Peak of the Market directly to Harvest Manitoba. From here, the vegetables are distributed to respective food bank locations across Manitoba. If you would prefer to donate to a facility of your choice, simply purchase a bundle and deliver it on your own.
Farm to School Saskatchewan has partnered with Food Banks of Saskatchewan to provide participants an opportunity to donate bundles to a local food bank.
Every participant who purchases donation vegetable bundles through Farm to School Saskatchewan are supporting a local food bank as well as schools, daycares and organizations. Schools, daycares and organizations still receive the same 50% of total sales regardless if the vegetables are purchased to keep or for donation!
Any vegetable bundles purchased for donation will be delivered for free by Peak of the Market directly to Regina & District Food Bank or Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre. If you would prefer to donate to a facility of your choice, simply purchase a bundle and deliver it on your own.
Farm to School Alberta has partnered with Food Banks Alberta to provide participants an opportunity to donate bundles to a local food bank.
Every participant who purchases donation vegetable bundles through Farm to School Alberta are supporting a local food bank as well as schools, daycares and organizations. Schools, daycares and organizations still receive the same 50% of total sales regardless if the vegetables are purchased to keep or for donation!
Any vegetable bundles purchased for donation will be delivered for free by Peak of the Market directly to Calgary Food Bank or Edmonton’s Food Bank. If you would prefer to donate to a facility of your choice, simply purchase a bundle and deliver it on your own.
